GrowNOW EF-Camp

Summer Day Camp

Looking for a new summer experience for your child? Look no further than GrowNOW – EF Summer Day Camp! For several weeks every summer, our campers embark on fun local adventures, building relationships and practicing valuable skills along the way.

Our summer campers immerse themselves in interactive activities that foster social skills, independence, and critical thinking. Our program encourages social interaction, independent decision-making, and problem-solving, equipping campers with essential life skills and improved executive functioning.

Our UNIQUE Executive Functioning Camp

Our camp is designed to empower children and teens with the tools they need to thrive across daily life, and summer is an opportunity to harness these skills. Your child will build essential skills through engaging activities and personalized instruction in a supportive and fun environment.

EF-Camp Provides Your Child:

  1. Expert Guidance: Our team of trained EF coaches and counselors specialize in cognitive development and executive functioning. They use up-to-date, evidence-based strategies to help children enhance their skills effectively.
  2. Interactive Learning: Our summer campers immerse themselves in interactive activities that foster social skills, independence, and critical thinking. We include diverse and engaging trip destinations across the community. We scaffold and encourage social interaction, independent decision-making, and problem-solving, equipping campers with essential life skills.
  3. Positive Environment: We create a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere where children feel motivated and supported. Our goal is to help them build confidence while developing essential life skills.

GrowNOW EF Camp Application Process

GrowNOW – EF Camp is committed to creating an ideal environment for all campers to thrive.

To ensure a fantastic fit for our program, we employ a multi-step application process. This approach helps us understand each applicant’s interests and needs, allowing us to curate the best possible experience for all enrolled campers.

Before you begin the application process, please read through the following important information.

  • Admission is selective: Please review the camper profile above carefully to see if GrowNOW Camp aligns with your child’s needs. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.
  • Deposit required: If your child is accepted, a $750 deposit is required upon enrollment.
  • Active and outdoorsy: Expect significant outdoor time (parks, water activities, etc.). While athletic ability isn’t required, being comfortable outdoors is crucial. If your child tires easily or dislikes outdoor activities, GrowNOW ADHD Camp may not be the best fit.
  • Encouraging flexibility: We help boys and girls with ADHD develop cognitive flexibility, something they often achieve better in peer groups. If your child expects constant accommodation for their inflexibility, GrowNOW Camp may not be suitable. We focus on skill development, not behavior modification
  • Photo/video policy: Photos and videos (with first names only) may be shared on GrowNOW ADHD Camp social media. If your child cannot appear in such content, unfortunately, she or he won’t be eligible to attend.
  • Referrals available: If we believe additional support is needed for your child’s success, we’ll gladly provide referrals to other camps better equipped to meet those needs.

Note: We understand these policies may require adjustments, but they ensure the best possible experience for all campers. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
